CLUB HISTORY: The Lake Country Boys’ Volleyball Club was started in 1997. LCVBC has served many players in the Waukesha County area, and players have gone on to attain all-conference status and play on collegiate varsity teams. The club philosophical goal remains to offers boys in the lake country area the opportunity to play volleyball and improve their skills.
CLUB SEASON: The club season typically runs from the end of Nov. to March/April. In past years, teams have committed to train into June in preparation for the USA Volleyball Junior Championship held early in July. This extra commitment has been based on the decisions of players, parents, and coaches, and an additional fee is attached. Each team will practice an average of one to two nights per week depending on gym availability during the winter months. We are anticipating that each team will play about 6 tournaments this season with the majority being one- day tournaments. Tournaments will mainly be in Wisconsin or Illinois.
PLAYER FEES: Our goal is to provide a high-quality, low-cost volleyball program for all ages. Fees will be approximately $550-$575 per player for the season. Fundraising is an option, but it will be the responsibility of individual team parents. The fees include costs associated with the regular club season: membership fees with USA Volleyball, uniforms, a volleyball, practice facility fees, tournaments, equipment purchases, and coaches’ fees. Transportation to tournaments and food costs during tournaments are not included. Parents will organize travel arrangements to tournaments.
COACHING INFORMATION: All of our coaches have previous coaching experience and will be IMPACT certified by Badger Region Volleyball. The reputation of a club is reflective of its coaches, and we strive to have coaches who are knowledgeable on and off the court with the most successful volleyball drill and coaching techniques.
